1. What ClearMind Is

ClearMind is a productivity application that helps you capture thoughts and to-dos quickly, then uses artificial intelligence to categorize, organize, and surface them when they are most relevant. The service is operated at clearmindai.org.

By creating an account or using ClearMind, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Your Account

To use ClearMind, you need to create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

You own your content. Everything you capture, write, or upload to ClearMind belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your thoughts, notes, tasks, or any other content you create.

By using ClearMind, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service. This includes sending your content to AI models for categorization, summarization, and chat responses.

We will not sell your content to third parties, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone outside of what is necessary to operate the service.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app. When you delete your account, we will remove your data from our active systems. Some data may persist in backups for a limited time before being purged.

ClearMind uses artificial intelligence extensively. It is important that you understand the following:

ClearMind is currently free during its beta period. We may introduce paid plans or change pricing in the future. If we do, we will provide reasonable advance notice so you can decide whether to continue using the service. You will never be charged without your explicit consent.

ClearMind is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work hard to keep the service running smoothly, but we do not guarantee:

Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClearMind and its operators from any claims, losses, or damages (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

Your privacy matters to us. Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. By using ClearMind, you consent to the practices described in that policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (such as an in-app notice or email). Your continued use of ClearMind after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of ClearMind shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court, the remaining provisions will continue to apply in full.
